Coalition for Prosperity (CP)

Coalition for Prosperity (CP): Following the 100 Years War, the victorious IGB established a satellite government on Deorum to manage the Vitalerium Mining Operation and oversee the development of a society built around this crucial resource. Initially known as the Vital Fracture Coalition, it was later rebranded as The Coalition for Prosperity in 2650 when the Aganon family took power. Gannon Aganon, the Overseer at the time, was recognized for his efficiency in optimizing Vitalerium mining and transforming Kairus—the planet’s sole city, home to 99% of its population—into what he termed an “innately obedient society.” By successfully implementing a “Cloward-Piven Strategy” approach, the Aganon regime effectively dismantled the concept of voting for representation on Deorum.

After Gannon Aganon’s untimely passing, his son Zerris Aganon assumed the Overseer’s seat. Known for his ruthless and uncompromising leadership, Zerris has tightened his grip on power. The CP operates under a hybrid authoritarian regime, blending bureaucratic plutocracy with blatant private-sector cronyism. The city is divided into seven city-states: Argos, Talos, Luxenia, Ytonia, Dorok, Leebrus, and Kairus-Prime. Each state is governed by a Governor, who also serves as its Chief Representative in the Court of Kairus. Traditional voting has been rendered obsolete; most recent Governors have secured their positions through wealth and family lineage, while subordinate representatives are handpicked by the ruling Governor.

Under Zerris Aganon’s reign, this already corrupt and self-serving system has grown increasingly oppressive. The CP Guardsmen, a militarized police force operating with unchecked authority, enforce the Coalition’s rule within the city’s walls. As the young and ambitious Overseer begins executing his calculated plan for absolute power, his actions threaten to disrupt the delicate balance of humanity’s multi-planetary civilization.
