Hey Friends!
Convention season is upon us! And after months of hard work and collaboration with Matthew Harden at MH Cosplay Design, we finally finished the movie-quality costume for Vitalerium Character Dorok Ferrous Benson XIII!!
Dorok was an easy choice for me, because the character is based on the likeness of my good friend, stunt actor and producer Levon Panek. You may recognize him, because he’s been in a number of shows and movies, including “The Last Straw”, which hit the top of the Apple TV charts for some time.
Levon and I go way back, and he allowed me permission to use his likeness with the guarantee that when I bring Vitalerium to the big screen (and I WILL bring Vitalerium to the big screen), he would be cast as Dorok. This process was an incredible learning experience, and fun to boot. I can’t stress enough how gracious both Levon, and Matthew Harden have been throughout.
Speaking of Matthew Harden, I mean… come on. Did you watch the video? What a talent!! Matthew and I met at the Animate! Miami Convention this year, and I couldn’t wait to work with him. He was able to create a striking cosplay in a short amount of time that literally mirrors the 3D rendered references I had for Dorok. I can’t thank him enough for his hard work and dedication to bringing my vision to life (and to a convention near you!).
That being said, I am working on having TWO more Vitalerium character costumes made before the big one…Megacon 2026. My goal is to have all four characters present at my featured Megacon booth to mingle with attendees, take pictures and talk all things Vitalerium with fans & attendees.
